Kathryn and Kevin
Here are some of our favorite images from Kathryn and Kevin’s wedding that took place at the Spring Brook Country Club:

Karen and Rick Wedding
Here are a few our favorite images from Karen and Rick’s wedding that took place at The Brownstone. We started off snapping few quick portraits of Karen in her limo before the ceremony.

We had the opportunity to photograph Karen and Rick in the brand new Brownstone Gardens and park. Apparently, they were one of the first couples to have access to this new park.

The DJs put on an incredible light show during the reception that made for great images!

Michelle and Kfir Wedding
You may remember Michelle and Kifir from their engagement session a few months ago.
In memory of her father, Michelle wraped her father’s tie around the stems of her bouquet.

Below, an Orthadox Jewish tradition, the signing of the Tannaim and the Ketubah (the betrothal and marriage contracts) taking place at the Tisch (table). Together, the mothers of Michelle and Kfir broke a plate sealing the marriage contract, in recognition of the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem.

At the bedeken, Kfir checked to make sure that it was, indeed, Michelle underneath the veil.

A quiet moment with Michelle and Kfir before the party.

Later on in the evening, Kfir sang to his new wife.

Cheryl and Chad
Here are a few of our favorites from Cheryl and Chad’s wedding.
The church’s wall of stained glass breath taking.

The guests released balloons as Cheryl and Chad exited the church.

The celebration at The Manor turned really lively. Its obvious that everyone had a great time.

Elizabeth and Bryan Engagment Session
Elizabeth and Bryan gave us possibly one of the best jump pictures we’ve ever taken during an engagement session!

We’re looking forward to photographing their wedding next year.
Tina and David
The day’s celebration began at Tina’s house with some traditional Greek customs. The bride’s uncle played the violin and sang for the occasion.

The plan was for Tina to arrive at the front of the church via horse and buggy. It didn’t look like it was going to happen when it started to rain shortly before the appointed hour. The rain cleared up as if by divine intervention, and Tina made her Cinderella arrival.

We love photographing in Greek churches; they provide a magnificent backdrop to a beautiful ceremony.

We were back at the Valley Regency for the reception. From the outdoor session: another magnificent backdrop!

Melissa and Michael
You may remember Melissa and Michael from their amazing Hoboken engagement session that we posted a few weeks ago. After working with them that day, we knew there would be tons of great photographic opportunities at their wedding and had been looking forward to photographing their wedding ever since! We were certainly not disappointed with the results.

The architecture of St. John’s The Baptist church in Hillsdale was stunning and dramatic. It also had the best air conditioning of any church we’ve ever been in!

Some fun shots from the Pearl River Hilton…

Congratulations Melissa and Michael and thank you for giving us the opportunity to be a part of your wedding day!
Tracy and Nick
If rain is good luck for a wedding then Tracy and Nick will have plenty for years to come! It was practically monsoon weather when we arrived at Tracy’s home and it looked like the outdoor ceremony they had planned for at the Tides was going to turn into an indoor one. As luck would have it about an hour before the ceremony the rain stopped, the clouds dissipated, and the day turned out to be literally picture perfect.

Just before the end of the night Nick and Mary, the maid of honor, hit some bongos.

Rachel and Matthew Engagement Session
Rachel and Matthew were great to work with and we look foward to photographing their wedding in September. Here are some of our favorite shots from their engagement session:

New look for our blog
As you can probably tell we’ve changed the look of our blog. After some hair pulling, head scratching, and a few hours of work, we’ve got it just the way we want it. We’re very excited about this new layout! All the way at the bottom of this blog you will find a new “tag” feature where we have tagged all of our previous posts. You can now view our wedding posts by the reception halls they took place in! If you like the look and new features let us know what you think by leaving a comment.
