With the playoffs approaching it seemed like a perfect time to post this engagement session. Kristen and Dan both share a love for baseball and wanted to incorporate the theme into their session and we thought this would be a great idea!. A baseball field in Pequannock, NJ was the perfect backdrop for their engagement session. One of the little touches they incorporated into their baseball themed engagement session were their favorite team jerseys.

Sophia and Ben had their wedding ceremony and reception at the Highlawn Pavilion in West Orange, NJ. We started the day with Sophia at home for some prep shots as she was getting her hair and makeup done.

Ben arrived at Sophia’s home for the traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony prior to leaving for the ceremony.

Upstairs for a quick change into the second outfit of the day… the wedding gown!

Despite the threat of rain, the ceremony took place in the Highlawn gardens. The mist created an ethereal atmosphere.

Sophia and Ben surprised their guests with a choreographed first dance. Their hard work paid off…they did a fantastic job!

For the third outfit change.. Sophia wore the traditional wedding cheongsam as the newlyweds greeted all their guests for the official wedding toasts

You may remember Bridget & Stephen from their engagement session back in November of 2010. We had a lot of fun with them and their engagement session turned out to be one of our favorites, so naturally we were looking forward to working with them again! Similar to their engagement session, there were so many great pictures it was hard to select only a few. The following images are a few of top favorites from their day.

We met Bridget for prep pictures at the Marriott Park Ridge hotel, in Bergen County, before heading over to Seasons for the ceremony and reception.

It’s always fun for us to work with familiar vendors, Bridget’s hair and makeup were done on location by Michelle Lo Conte of I Do Hair and Makeup. Below you can see her putting finishing touches on Bridget.

The Rhythm Shop provided the entertainment and kept the party going all night long (literally!). Some of Bridget and Stephens guests didn’t want the party to end and were even requesting an encore when after the night ended.
