A contemplative Rubin prior to leaving for the church.

Jennifer getting ready takes a moment to read the fortune from their dinner the night before…

Arriving at Queen of Peace in North Arlington for the ceremony; Jennifer’s dad is reflected in the limo window.

The weather held out, and the rain that was forecast never materialized. Below are some of the images we captured in Verona Park.

The celebration took place at the Richfield Regency.

Grandma was the last to join the single ladies for the bouquet toss, and surprised everyone with her flawless catch!

Thanks to Jennifer’s makeup artist Alexa (The Glam Fairy), who made sure that Jennifer would look flawless all day. Thanks also to Jennifer’s coordinator Limor (Koru Event Design), who made sure everything ran smoothly. Limor, it was a pleasure to meet you and your husband. A very special thanks to Jennifer and Ruben and their families for allowing us to be a part of your special day.

Their day was full of tradition from signing the Katuba (the marriage contract)

to the ceremony itself, under the chupah.

The ceremony concluded with Jeffrey breaking the glass, and kissing his bride to shouts of “Mazal Tov”!

All were entertained by one of the guests who got up with the band and played some blues on the harmonica, and sang as well. He was fantastic, and played two sets during the night to everyone’s delight.

The day wound down with another tradition called the Mazinka. This is a tradition where parents are honored when their last child is married. They wear wreaths on their heads, and sit while all the guests dance around them, and come by to congratulate them.
